La Vita Abbondante (The Abundant Life) a watercolor created especially for Assistance League of Bend, 2013 Kitchen Kaleidoscope

Inspired by the journey, Cindy Briggs captures the grace and beauty of her subjects with a paintbrush in her hand.  She cherishes every opportunity to paint whether in Central Oregon or away on her artful adventures.  Cindy travels creatively with her students to paint and sketch picturesque locations; from Smith Rock to Carmel, Quebec City to the Amalfi Coast, and Venice to the French Riviera.  She shares her imaginative approach to painting en plein air and in the studio in her book "Make Every Day A Painting" and teaching locally in her Awbrey Butte Studio, at the Art Station and at Bend Your Imagination.

Recognized for her mastery of painting with captivating color and light, Cindy Briggs has a signature palet of watercolors offered through Daniel Smith stores in Seattle.  Her award winning work has been featured in international, national and regional exhibits, private collections, museums, galleries and many publications including America’s Best of Watercolorists and Watercolor Magazine.  She is a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, member of the National Watercolor Society and the High Desert Art League.
