Fifteen years of Kitchen Kaleidoscope tours has made it a signature event in the Bend community. Imagine six to seven private homes, professionally decorated and staged for the tour. The dining tables are set for company with beautiful dishes and stemware, and each table is adorned with a uniquely styled floral arrangement donated by a local florist. The kitchens provide the focal point of these homes, designed especially for the families who enjoy cooking and entertaining.

Homes feature some of Bend’s most loved chefs serving up delicious and tempting food samples and sharing their love of food with the guests. And what tour would be complete without the opportunity to shop? Whether it is a hostess gift or something for your own kitchen, Assistance League members host a marketplace filled with everything from tomato knives to handmade aprons and wine bags. Two vendors and/or artisans from the community are located at each of the homes displaying and selling their jewelry, artwork and goods. It is truly a community effort.

Several hundred guests take this day-long tour semi-annually, and all funds raised go to support the philanthropic programs of Assistance League.
